Shields Facilities Maintenance is a service-based business that provides crucial facilities maintenance and project management services to national accounts across multiple verticals. SFM designs and delivers targeted programs for national and regional retail, financial, c-store, grocery, healthcare, restaurant, and commercial real estate property management clients. As a result of our strategic growth, we are looking for a Bid & Proposal Managerto oversee the development of proposals, bids and RFP responses and all associated documents in response to requests from our current and prospective clients.

The Sales and Marketing Analyst/Bid Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing and meeting proposal deadlines for both the quantitative and qualitative portions of RFP’s and proposals.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate and submitted on time.
- Working with the Sales department to prioritize and manages bid submissions.
- Appraising the required bid resources and their availability.
- Working with the sales lead to develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure win themes are clear and compelling.
- Controlling the RFP response and oversees the drafting of a cost-estimated, detailed, and persuasive proposal with the aim of winning a contract.
- Reviewing all customer requirements to ensure that they are met in the proposal and collaborate with all involved parties to include all necessary information within the proposals.
- Ensuring timely submission of compliant and commercially sound bids.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for this position:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Strong organization skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point
- 3-5 years related experience in proposal writing
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow to meet deadlines
