What You’ll Do

You’ll be a solid influence in helping Shopwindow develop a connected, thoughtful , happy team focused on a big mission to help local businesses. You’ll learn and discover how to effectively build a pool of talent and also help develop a culture. Your creativity and thoughtfulness is loved here helping to create joy for new hires with care packages and roadmaps to get their first 90 days humming.

This is partly a creative role where you will learn how we design recruitment ads, pre-screening tests and interviews.

Who You’ll Work With

You will be working closely with the CEO on learning how to write, strategy, sourcing candidates, interviewing and onboarding and then operating independently.

You should have the following

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to freely talk to strangers

• Strong technical skills in Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides and a willingness to learn other software programs as needed

• Ability to empathetically let people know they are not hired

• Creativity is highly valued

• Zero experience in HR. We have a unique method and are NOT looking for anyone with previous practical experience in HR. You can be studying HR but not currently or previously been working in HR. The person we are looking for has a blank slate with no previous experience. This will be fun.
