Significance Inc Hiring for ERP Process Area SME – Transportation Specialist Job at Remote Full Time

The ERP Process Area SME will help lead business process engineering applying SAP S/4 enabled business best practices applicable to the Army referencing knowledge bases such as Deloitte’s IndustryPrint™ and SAP’s Model Company. The SME will be able to understand process and functional specifications and will be able to help confirm if they can be delivered standard in an SAP S/4 solution or if additional enhancements and process designs will be required. The SME will have a strong grasp of SAP functionality in the key process area of product lifecycle management. The SME will be able to work with other SMEs to help complete integrated end to end processes using the complete SAP S/4 suite.

The SME will identify functional gaps and/or deficiencies that affect the functional area’s ability to support/meet organizational and functional goals. As part of the BPR effort, the ERP Process Area Subject Matter Expert works with the Business Analysts to translate business processes into capabilities the future solution can provide. The ERP Process Area Subject Matter Expert also works with the Integration Lead and BPR Team Lead in an Agile based program to plan and implement procedures in order to ensure consistency and continuity across the BPR effort.

Experience in transportation management for S4 strongly preferred, and experience implementing SAP with S/4 strongly preferred, but will consider SAP in US DoD as an alternative. Agile knowledge preferred.

Must have experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. Must have excellent communication skills and an understanding in creating business process flows.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related fields is preferred. 10 years’ experience minimum required.
