COVID-19 continues to significantly impact our employees, families and communities. With employee health and safety as our top priority, and as a federal contractor, Lockheed Martin is taking action to address the increased risk and uncertainty COVID-19 variants pose in the workplace and ensuring we meet our commitments to national security.
To uphold safety for all employees, we will continue to request vaccination status for all Lockheed Martin employees including new hires. All current and newly hired employees are required to follow onsite safety measures based upon the COVID-19 Community Level at the specific work location.

Simply stated, our mission is to be the world’s leading global security and aerospace company.
The HR Business Partner will support the Sikorsky Future Vertical Lift (FVL) organization in addition to project-level work. Programs are at a Corporate Focus level and have potential Total Program Values of up to $100B. Both programs are currently in the front end/campaign activity (one is waiting on selection!), so this rotation would be exposed to a very high-profile, highly competitive, and highly visible (internally and externally) environment.
The HRBP will support the client groups with their organizational strategy, including leadership in change management, talent identification and movement/succession planning, talent acquisition, diversity/inclusion, performance management, compensation and rewards programs, and a Culture of Accountability.
In addition to HRBP support, this role will also assist with broader project efforts across the Sikorsky Line of Business market segment and pull together data, projects, and best practices to ensure consistent application of processes.
The HRBP supporting FVL will be responsible for helping to develop and implement the Human Capital strategy and initiatives to ensure talent and organizational capability, as well as capacity, are aligned to support the business needs. The HRBP will be expected to help lead the development of innovative Human Capital solutions to address complex business issues, including but not limited to, large-scale change initiatives, business growth, staffing up or down cycles, business integration, talent development, coaching, organizational design, and strategic decision making. He/she must possess very strong business acumen in order to develop and execute the necessary human capital strategies. The HRBP must be capable of assessing talent within the organization and help develop talent management strategies to ensure key talent is placed in key roles and that the organization has the appropriate bench strength. The ideal candidate will exhibit a high level of emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, a strong executive presence, and in the ability to navigate complex situations.
