In this position you will work for one of the main telco operators. You will have to deal with infrastructure, different software set ups and also develop minimal software to create, maintain and automate diverse and evolving scenarios combining fix set of applications if different environments.

In a typical day as a DevOps Engineer , you would have the following responsibilities
• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Develop scripts to automate process
• Setting up virtual machines, containers (either docker or kubenertes based containers)
• Installing and configuring Openstack and Openshift environments.
• Jenkins to automate installation and processes.
• Producing step by step installation and configuration documentation or how short guides on how to use developed automation.
• Collaborate and communicate with internal/external stakeholders to provide an insight and also to sort out impediments, if any
If you are…
• Typically 4/5+ years Experienced
• Holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Experienced with Linux/Unix and an RBMS (for example Oracle Database)
• Experienced in Telco environments (Service or resource orchestration)
• Able to fully understand Java and scripting, and desirable Python
• Experienced working with cloud native applications
• Knowledge for installing and configuring Openstack, Openshift and K8S environments or ability to investigate how to install, configure set ups and to automate them and desirable Google Anthos, AWS and Azure notions.
• Strong at problem solving and analytics.
• Familiar with Agile and SAFE methodologies.
• You are good at communicating goals and objectives, and setting objetives.
• Hands-on experienced implementing/using DevOps practices/tools (e.g. Jenkins)
• Enthusiastic about documenting, automating the things he/she achieved manually.
