EMEA Aruba Director for Transactional/Small and Medium Business
The EMEA Aruba Director will be responsible for driving sales for Aruba’s transactional Small and Medium business (SMB) portfolio. Building the strategy to attack the SMB market, developing and executing the go-to-market plan, driving different routes to market (channel partners, eCommerce marketplaces and service providers) to gain market share, managing the Playbook/Operating model and collaborating across various functions (marketing, channel, product line management, supply chain, enablement) would be the primary focus of this role. The portfolio responsibilities encompass the Aruba Transactional Products with focus on the Aruba Instant On Wireless/Wired and cloud-based management products. KPIs include revenue, shipment, sales out, inventory management and end-user/partner awareness.
This person will also be the trusted advisor to the region and country sales teams with expertise of market trends, customers purchasing behaviors, competitive insights, analyst research/views, GTM strategy/sales motion and solutions/product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Owns the revenue, shipment and sales out for the Aruba Transactional business including the Aruba Instant On wireless and wired portfolio for EMEA.
Owns the GTM Strategy and Playbook/ operating model for Aruba Small and Medium Business
– Implement and drive the sales management process around the Shipment/Sales-Out/WOS/Numerical Distribution’s KPI’s, to meet or exceed revenue/sales out budget
– Drive execution of the Playbook with Regions/Countries aligned to budget
– Drive execution of the partner GTM strategy (Distributors/long tail partners, eCommerce, MSPs) and effective sales & marketing plans with those partners (optimize market development funds)
– Leverage best practices across the world, to accelerate growth
– Drive governance with WW cross-functional functions and with Regions
– With marketing on compelling usage messaging, awareness and demand gen. programs
– With product line management on the Aruba Instant On roadmap, product transition strategy, pricing, P&L
– With product line management and Competitive intelligence team to assess competitors and define where to play and how to win

Where appropriate, seeks to build strategic executive relationships externally with clients and internally within company, and partners with internal and external resources to develop best-in-class solutions for the customer. Manages the performance of individual contributors and the team overall, and grows and develops talent within the organization.
