YOU
You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each other. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, analyzing, and reconciling transactions and GL balances. You are responsible for creating and delivering financial information as requested on a periodic basis. That’s year one. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Perform various monthly closing activities, including journal voucher preparation and accuracy check on others, account reconciliation, and earnings analysis. Trial balance reconciliations and review of the general ledger to ensure it is accurate and complete. Check and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports so that management has accurate and timely information for making decisions. These reports may include profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other analytics. (55%)
Maintain accurate monthly rebate accruals. Responsible for creation of all branch owned rebate contracts and maintenance of contracts within the SAP system. Evaluate all rebate settlements prior to creation. Create rebate settlements within the SAP system. (20%)
Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and assist others with controls. Create and compile monthly reports in order to fulfill various controls. (15%)
Other duties as assigned. (10%)

This full-time, exempt position is located in Gallatin, TN.

Relocation is not available for this position.
