The Senior Software Developer is a member of a collaborative team in support of business objectives. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing custom software solutions using SOLID and clean coding principles.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide guidance on technical strategies to teammates
Collaborate with product owners to gather requirements
Peer-review and provide constructive feedback to teammates
Make recommendations to enhance scalability and maintainability
Lead and contribute to technical design discussions
Create and enhance CICD pipelines
Ensure quality through manual and automated test
Provide guidance to stakeholders on user acceptance testing
Investigate reported software issues
All other assignments as needed
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Six years professional experience with object-oriented programming
Effectively communicate with teammates and non-technical end-users
Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices
Desire to learn new technologies and make recommendations when appropriate
Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
Prior experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues
High level of self-motivation and direction
Experience in Agile Software Development practices
Keen attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Four-year degree in software engineering or computer science
Experience with relational databases and object relational mappers
Prior work experience in a manufacturing field
Proficiency developing solutions in C#
Experience with ASP.NET
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization tools
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP API’s
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
