Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315

Starting Pay: $18.00/hr + Benefits

Shifts: Midnight – 8:00 AM, Over Night Shift. Weekends and Holidays required.

We are looking for experienced Logistics coordinators – Dispatchers to act as a liaison between our drivers, customers, and OCC (airline customer service). In this role, you’ll be required to provide support and direction to our drivers to meet contractual on-time performance standards in accordance with our company values.

We are looking for experienced logistics coordinators who are friendly, self-motivated, and dynamic, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Logistics coordinators are required to respond to all situations with a sense of urgency, including documenting issues, responding to flight and schedule changes, and any crew calls that arise. The ability to process visual information quickly and effectively is a requirement to be successful in this role.

What you will be Doing:

• Provide excellent customer service and present a professional demeanor and appearance
• Dispatching and scheduling
• Coordinating all variables and dispatching drivers to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs
• Provide direction and guidance to drivers and airline crew to minimize delays and service Maintain constant communication with drivers, airline crews, management, and reservations staff
• Anticipate any service or logistical issues in order to avoid client dissatisfaction
• Maintaining solid customer relationships by handling client questions and concerns
• Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
• Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of activities and other
• Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
• All other duties as assigned

What you will need to have:

• Ability to multi-task – coordinators are required to keep track of a lot of moving pieces. From answering multi-line phones, to monitoring GPS, to updating schedules, our coordinators are always busy!
• Problem-Solving – The ability to work independently and objectively. You must be able to solve issues as they arise, often requiring you to think on your feet, or outside the box. You need to show good judgement in high-pressure situations and be able to direct others to take appropriate action under stressful conditions to mitigate the operational impact.
• Flexibility – Our dispatch center is a 24/7/365 operation, so ability to work varied shifts based on flight and trip volume is required.
• 2+ years of dispatch experience
• 4+ years of customer service experience
• Experience working in a call center, or high call volume environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with crew members, airline representatives, and your co-workers (drivers and managers) is necessary.
• Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) in English is required, bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• High School diploma required; some college preferred
• Experience using GPS and Geofencing software, video tracking and other general technology skills is required.
