Skyline CAP is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant for our Head Start program located in Greene County (Stanardsville). Our Head Start program provides a quality preschool experience for at-risk 3-4 year old children. We’re looking for someone with similar experience to hit the ground running and compliment our existing program. The successful candidate will work with our classroom Teacher, and participate in on-going training in various areas to enhance your knowledge, skills and performance. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week for approximately 37 weeks per year. We operate on a public school calendar and are closed during the summer months. Our preferred candidate will have at least an Associate’s degree or CDA. We will consider those with experience who are willing to obtain the CDA, during your work hours. Our benefits include health, dental, life and long-term disability insurance, paid holidays, sick leave, personal leave and retirement contribution. Hourly rate is $11.50-$12.00.
