Position Purpose
The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for Workday and HR system performance and accuracy including processing, administering, and maintaining employee and organizational information within Workday and other HR systems. This role will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and support to Human Resources and Team Members across Sleep Number and will operate as a point of contact for Workday related questions including, but not limited to, payroll, benefits, recruiting, and compensation. This role is open to being 100% remote.
Primary Responsibilities:
Builds strong relationships with Team Members, HR Partners, and internal business partners, providing accurate and timely day-to-day support on Workday and HR Technology solutions
Support Team Members and managers throughout the onboarding and employment process
Maintain employee and organizational information within Workday and other HR Systems
Audit team member data and processes in Workday and HR systems to ensure accuracy and compliance, including approval of employee self-service updates
Support HR Operations team with Workday maintenance and supports tasks, participate in Workday testing in accordance with Change Control policy C
Create and maintain process documentation for HR Business function(s) and systems
Monitor the Human Resources email inbox; process and manage Tier 1 helpdesk Workday and HR related tickets as applicable
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience; High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years HR experience desired, with employee relations experience
HCM system experience, Workday preferred.
Strong business acumen and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility with all levels of leaders.
Ability to create sustainable and scalable business processes focusing on continuous improvement at the enterprise level.
Self-starter with ability to take initiative to research policies and resolve questions/issues/concerns in a growth environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Must be detail oriented, accurate, and highly organized.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills and has strong consultation skills to seek out and share information with all levels of team members and leaders.
High-level of demonstrated integrity, trust, and empathy.
Demonstrated experience working with confidential information.
