CONFIDENTIAL:
Our client, a global manufacturing and distribution company in the automotive sector has retained us to source Executive-level, Strategic Human Resource Professionals for the role of Corporate Human Resource Director, to work in their offices in the Nashville, TN area. This is primarily an “in-office” role. Some travel to other facilities required.
The right candidate will lead the organization in their fast-growth environment where PEOPLE matter to the company’s continued success.
You will have a proven track-record (and passion for) leading the organization’s Human Resource strategy, aligned with the corporate strategy, while ensuring all the HR functions are best-practice and robust. You will sit at the executive level , working directly for the CEO, and driving innovation and change in the talent arena.
Specifically, you will coach and advise the senior leadership team, while overseeing the HR staff on compensation/benefits, recruiting, training, talent management, succession planning, payroll, and employee-related regulatory compliance and HRIS systems.
You will develop a best-in-class leadership development process to ensure that executive and sales leadership are at the top of game, while establishing a career management program to attract and retain all talent, and to leverage the strengths of all employees.

Experience Required:
A Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
Degree relevant to HR Management, Training & Development, or Psychology or business preferred
At least 7 to 10 years’ experience, some at Executive level of Human Resource experience in automotive or other manufacturing/distribution industries (with mfg., sales, operations, and executive levels oversight)
7+ years in a management role with direct reports
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred
Proficient in Office 365 platform, and MS Teams technology for collaboration
Understanding of HRIS/HRMS Platforms
Experience in strategy design both of HR and within the executive leadership team as active owner of overall corporate goals and objectives
Understand the key results to ensure alignment within the organization
All HR Functions Expertise/Knowledge (Comp., benefits, compliance, labor relations, performance management, workers compensation, HRIS)
Proven track-record in developing recruiting, retention, and people development programs, including all levels of the organization
Demonstrated knowledge of career coaching and development of leaders to provide true career pathing to ensure company has a strong bench of future leaders in the organization
