Smith Boys of Chautauqua is a privately-owned Boat Dealership in Jamestown N.Y. We are looking for an Boat Sales Professional.
About us: We are a Family-Owned, well-established Boat Dealership. We sell & service boats & related Marine Products to middle & upper income families.
Work Hours: SUMMER: 6 days a week. WINTER: Reduced hours!
We sell: Sea Ray, Bayliner, Crownline & Starcraft Fiberglass Pleasure Boats, Berkshire & Starcraft Pontoon Boats; Malibu & Axis Ski Boats.
We operate: similarly to an Auto Dealership and are looking for an experienced sales person with knowledge of boats.
Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
- Sell Boats & related Marine Products
- Follow-up with Customers to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Train & stay engaged with the Staff; Be a Leader
- A successful candidate will be able to sell boats, ensure service work is completed and billed in a timely manner, and work to maintain a functional staff.
Skills & Qualifications Desired:
- Knowledge of Boats & Marinas preferred, but not required.
- Experience working in one of the following industries: Automotive, Recreational Motor Homes, Power Sports, Boat Dealerships or Real Estate.
- History of selling big ticket items
- Ability to close a deal
- Ability work within a dealership & deal with high net worth individuals.
- Familiar with titles, liens, closeouts, actual cash values of trades & financing
- Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook

Salary: This is a full time Hourly plus Commissioned position; Base pay is dependent on experience & education.

Pay: $40,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
