Snap Custom Pizza Hiring for Restaurant General Manager (#9) Job at State College, PA Full Time

SNAP Custom Pizza is looking for a General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fast-casual restaurant. The GM is responsible for maintaining an excellent work environment through means of organization, training, customer satisfaction, and commitment. • Starting salary from $50,000 – $60,000

• Advancement opportunities

• Health Insurance (offered after 90 days or employment)

• Vacation time (after 6 months)

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the store independently
• Demonstrate leadership and promote teamwork
• Interview/Hire/Train/ Motivate store employees
• Manage Inventory (Control/Costs)
• Manage budgets, P&L, payroll
• Create a positive work environment that in turn, fosters a welcoming guest experience
• Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure all employees know and follow company policies and procedures

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment
• People Relations Skills (effective communication, supervisory/team-building, handling sensitive/confidential information…etc.)
• Supervisory and Team-building skills
• Strong Administrative/Organizational Skills
• General Business Knowledge (sales-forecasting, staffing, managing financials, system development…etc.)
• Strong Written/Verbal Communication Skills
• Highly Motivated, Self-Directed, and Results Driven

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• College degree in business or a closely related field (strongly preferred)
• Restaurant experience (5 years)
• General Manager or equivalent level position (3 years)
• Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
• Have a flexible schedule, including, nights, weekends, and holidays in order to provide coverage when store employees are unavailable
