We’re looking for a Senior Analyst, Revenue Strategy to join Team Snapchat! As a part of our Revenue Strategy team, you’ll drive analysis and reporting as well as partner with business leaders and engineers to grow Snapchat. You’ll be responsible for gathering, assessing, and managing data to transform it into insights, analysis and reporting. What you’ll do:
Data & Modeling
Develop, maintain and productionalize forecasting models for our Global Small and Medium customer businesses
Work with business stakeholders and engineering teams to QA data, identify gaps and contribute to changes in business processes and data pipelines to fix data gaps
Data wrangling and QA of large datasets from multiple sources including but not limited to: BigQuery, Looker, Salesforce
Develop actionable insights and Sales strategy through the analysis of large datasets across multiple tools (Excel, Python, SQL, etc)
Develop & maintain regular revenue forecasts through pacing analysis, Python forecasting models, and collaboration with the Snap Small Medium Business Sales Team
Reporting
Develop financial reporting, analysis, insights, and recommendations
Proactively lead analytics-based projects and or processes
Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly business review presentations for executive leadership
Lead ad hoc reporting and projects and provide results
Stakeholder Management
Lead cross-functional projects with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Product teams
Work with non-technical business users to understand their analytical needs, document and prioritize requirements, and to help them effectively use the data and analytical tools that the team has developed
Manage communication with key stakeholders across the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Applied Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related field or equivalent years of experience
Intermediate level or above: SQL & Python
Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and Excel skills
Proficiency developing and maintaining dashboards using a BI tool like Tableau/Looker
4+ years of work experience in media/entertainment, sales finance, or another related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Able to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
Familiarity with time-series and forecasting methods
Familiarity with: Looker, BigQuery, Google Collab, Python, Salesforce, JIRA
Prior experience working within the Advertising industry providing support to Sales teams
Someone who can multitask, think creatively, and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
A detail-oriented person who has a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational/project managing skills
Someone who is self-directed and proactive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and someone who feels comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
A passion for Snapchat and creativity!
Compensation:
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $110,000 – 160,000 annually
Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $105,000 – 152,000 annually
Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $94,000 – 136,000 annually
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
