Softcom Systems, Inc Hiring for Accountant/Payroll Specialist Job at Saint Louis, MO Full Time

• Oversee day-to-day business accounting and HR activities.
• Perform bookkeeping activities and analysis using project accounting software, currently Deltek Ajera (i.e. A/P, A/R, billing, setting up projects and maintaining associated hours, job cost analysis, expense reports, etc.).
• Support bi-weekly payroll activities and reporting through an outside payroll service.
• Oversee preparation of business activity/financial reports and ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted principles of financial reporting standards.
• Serve as primary contact for business, financial, and HR benefits vendors (payroll, bank, CPA, insurance, 401k, etc.)
• Responsible for coordinating with CPA for tax planning and tax reporting throughout the year.
• Submit monthly and annual compliance notifications and governmental reporting.
• Handle bank deposits
• Maintain business licenses and state registrations
• Assist with day-to-day office activities (answer phones and greet customers, accept deliveries, and distribute mail)
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
