Responsibility
- Design and implement highly performant, reliable and scalable Web application functionality for mental health care service.
- Participate in all facets of the software development life cycle (from the initial concept to the final release).
- Review code and technical documents.
- Create technical specifications which clearly communicate design ideas, functionality and optimization.
- Take ownership of critical parts of the development
· Lead a full stack development directly delivering value to patients and providers using technologies like Vue.js, React.js, AWS, Ruby, Typescript, etc.
· Build software libraries and services
- Manage the entire lifecycle of software components, from requirements through design, testing, development, release, and demise
- Evaluate, implement, and enforce software development best practices
- Work closely with offshore team to sync up requirements and progress
· Mentor engineers with varying skill levels and experiences
Requirement
· 3+ years of experience in backend development with Typescript or NodeJS
· Has experience on creating micro-services
· Hands on experience with AWS cloud
· Strong knowledge about architecture
· Nice to have: Experience with ReactJs, CSS, HTML for frontend development
· Willing to learn Ruby for backend development
· Experience leading a small engineering team to deliver consumer-facing features in a fast-paced environment
· Willing to work with Offshore team in Asia
· Ability to break out a monolithic architecture into domain-driven components and services
· Proven ability to switch domains and tech stacks then add value on Day 1
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour
