Job Description

• Examines each payroll run for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance and works with the Sr. Accountant on any improvement opportunities that are apparent.
• Verifying work records have been captured correctly and completely between multiple systems (requires comparing data in multiple systems).
• Respond to day-to-day HR system requests, running payroll related reports (i.e government and census reporting), monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, troubleshooting process, data and system failures including root cause analysis, documentation and implementing solutions.
• Maintain reports that provide appropriate level of detail and actionable insights that can be used to drive decision making and process improvements.
• Perform regular data integrity audits between multiple HR systems to assure consistency, light data entry, collect data for mass load requests and support special projects as necessary.

Required Skills:

• Advanced MS Excel skills (i.e., VLOOKUP’s, IFs statements, pivot tables)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and bring tasks to timely completion in a deadline driven environment
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field (a combination of education and experience will be acceptable where appropriate)
• 2+ years of relevant data analysis and analytics experience

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
