YOUR RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff

• Provide companionship and personal care to patients

• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

• Companionship

Light Housekeeping

• Dust
• Vacuum
• Clean kitchen
• Organize closets
• Change the linen and make beds
• Light laundry
• Light ironing

• Grocery and clothes shopping
• Pick up prescriptions
• Go to doctor appointments
• Drive to beauty salon or gym
• Attend theater and movie events
• Dine out for lunch or dinner
• Drive to family gatherings
• Handle dry-cleaning
• Buy stamps and mail packages
• Attend church services

Qualifications Required:

• Be at least eighteen (18) years of age

• Pass a level 2 Background check

• Must have reliable transportation

• Palm Beach County Home Caregiver ID Badge (HHA Only)

• Florida driver’s license and Auto Insurance

• Social Security Card

• Proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency

• Current CPR/First Aid Certification Card

• Negative TB Test within the last 12 months or Chest X-Ray x 5yrs

• CEU certificates – HIV/AIDS and Alzheimer’s/Dementia
