Essential Functions
Responsible for the strategic plan and application of the ServiceNow system for HR across all global locations.
Responsible for the security and configuration design of the ServiceNow system not limited to service offerings and assignment rules.
Supervises, motivates, and evaluates the day-to-day performance of HR Technology team members, ensuring the development, maintenance, and technical support of the HR Technology system ServiceNow.
Ability to respond to business demand and deliver value quickly in an iterative, incremental manner is key to the success of our HR Technology organization.
Works closely with the HR leadership team to champion the HR Shared Services model and technology offerings to internal customers and key stakeholders; constantly solicit feedback to understand how we can better serve our Sonoco family; clearly articulating the vision and value brought by HR Shared Services; act as the catalyst for change.
Provides guidance and support to HR Shared Services team members and other key stakeholders as technical questions arise from the continuous service to the Sonoco employee population.
Manages escalations; providing guidance and identifying the root cause to ensure plans are put in place so additional escalations do not occur; ensures corrective actions are put in place and followed.
Serves as subject matter expert on project teams in representation of HR Technology; work to ensure all HR Technology team members are aligned with project and initiatives expectations.
Creates and trains HR Shared Services team members and key stakeholders on internal processes, ensures compliance with all documented Standard Operating Procedures within the HR Technology team responsible for ServiceNow.
Develop the best practice project management framework, templates, tools, and systems to drive cost, time and quality metrics.
Design of appropriate training to enable effective application of project management framework across the organization.
Guide team in adoption of the required frameworks at the appropriate level.
Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in Business/HR a plus
Experience leading teams and organizations through significant change
Must have 4 years of leadership experience
Possesses strong problem-solving skills
Deftly manages competing priorities
Collaborates and builds relationships with others to influence decisions
Able to handle complaints in difficult situations with ease and tact
Experience working on a global scale in regions such as EMEA, APAC and LATAM
Project management skills a plus
