This position is responsible for evaluating positions and pricing them based on market data gathered from a salary survey library. Additionally, this position has responsibility for job description development, participation in annual salary surveys, conducting various analyses and assisting with the communication and processing of annual performance evaluations. Supports benefits, retirement and bonus program management.

Requirements

• Utilizes a market pricing approach through the utilization of a salary survey library to properly evaluate, price and grade positions submitted for review by management.
• Conducts job analyses on positions submitted for evaluation to ensure accuracy of duties performed, consistency with titling schemes and proper FLSA exemption classification.
• Participates in local and national salary surveys, ensuring data accuracy and submission by stated deadlines.
• Guides management in the development of job descriptions and ensures they are submitted and archived in the proper format.
• Extracts data from an HRIS and uses information to conduct internal equity analyses, job levelling analyses and the production of various costing scenarios.
• In coordination w/Human Capital Team Coaches management on salary administration policies and procedures.
• Assists in the communication and training of annual performance evaluation procedures and merit increase processing.
• Recommends and forwards for approval out-of-cycle pay adjustments based on the type of analysis conducted.
• Serves as a project team member on major compensation initiatives as deemed necessary.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Education, Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or a related field required. (Four additional years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree).
• Two or more years of compensation and salary administration experience required.
• Practical knowledge and use of standard compensation equations and federal laws governing compensation practices required.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required. This includes the ability to manipulate Excel to utilize mathematical formulas, produce pivot tables, V-Look-Ups and graphs/charts.
• Must be able to utilize strong data mining and analysis skills to produce various reports for management review.

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills

• Previous compensation experience within a healthcare environment preferred.
• Coursework towards a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.
• Familiarity with Paylocity HRIS ad hoc reporting preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $54,781.40 per year
