Basic Function:
Under the direction of the Telecommunications Supervisor, the Operator is responsible for all internal and external communications that come into the hospital switchboard. He/she performs all hospital paging, monitors fire and code alarms, and handles all phone calls that come into the PBX/Amcom system. All duties are to be performed in the best interest of Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, its physicians, and its patients and may be subject to change.

A high school diploma is a minimal requirement, with basic PC operation experience preferred.
