Position Overview
The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) announces an examination process to create an eligibility list to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Human Resources Director in the Human Resources Department. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to four (4) months.
Note: This recruitment will close on or before the closing date listed above once a sufficient number of qualified applicants have been identified.
Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing District Human Resources activities, programs, and staff performing a variety of human resources disciplines including recruitment and selection, job analysis, classification and compensation plan administration, employee/organizational development, training, and employee/labor relations; provides subject matter consultation to executive staff and the Board.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in business management, human resources management or a related field AND five (5) years of managerial human resources experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.
- Nevada Driver’s License.
- Incident Command System training, ICS 100, ICS 200 and NIMS within six (6) months of date of hire
