JOB SUMMARY
The Sup, Data Operations leads a team of operational frontline staff in support of OSP Design. Responsible for daily accountability of tasking multiple projects for development of implementation of design performance, including all interval reporting. Uphold the implementation of policies, procedures, practices and performance measurements that promote an environment of goals and measures effectiveness.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Support with workflow and M&P development, operations and implementation of business processes to promote system efficiencies, process improvements, preventative maintenance and/or cost-saving measures.
Monitor and assist with the day-to-day business activity, ensuring design allocations and commitments are maintained and tracked for measureable performance metrics.
Responsible for managing, producing and distribution of all weekly, monthly and interval reporting for the department.
Project management responsibility for in-house and contract labor resources in direct ownership of all task assignments for Design orders in an efficient and effective manner to ensure SLA adherence.
Assist with capital and operating department budget accountability to include outlook, financials, invoicing and PO submission.
Develop an effective front line team to drive a high performance culture and environment.
Know, understand and follow company policy.
Assist with coordinating and ensuring proper training is identified and administered to the team.
Cultivate teamwork and mentorship, internal and external to the Design team, to encourage solution sharing and knowledge transfer.
Respond to internal and external customer questions and concerns.
Serve as liaison for cross boundary departments.
Responsible for clear and consistent communication.
All other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Spatial/GIS ability in applications such as MapInfo, ArcGIS, and Google Earth
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to influence people with purpose, direction and motivation to accomplish goals
Ability to work in fast paced environment handling multiple responsibilities while successfully meeting goals and deadlines within budget
Good verbal, written and interpersonal communications
Ability to effectively present and explain solutions to management and team
Ability to maintain and develop individual contributors within the team

Basic financial knowledge for EXP and CAP invoicing and payment requirements
Knowledge of Engineering and Operations and use this to balance the needs of both
Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Visio and Project applications programs
Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent education and experience
College course work or specialized training in drafting (AutoCAD, Cad Design) preferred
