Summary
The Senior Analyst / Accountant provides financial analysis for finance and operations with a particular focus on Job Cost. Responsible for monthly GL close insuring the integrity and timeliness of all General Ledger and Subsidiary Ledger postings. Prepares supporting schedules for GL balances and the reconciliation of Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Reconciliation to the General Ledger and Financial Analysis.
Supports the Finance Director as needed and executes the weekly receipts and disbursements needed to facilitate business operations in the Director’s absence.
Role and Responsibilities – Primary
· Maintain or develop:
o Key metrics for Operations and Finance
o Job Cost system structure and reporting.
o Financial reporting and general ledger structure.
o Supporting schedules and subsidiary ledgers as needed periodic financial close(s).
· Supervisory acumen and oversight of:
o Accounting Manager and Financial analysts
o Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable departments.
o Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
· Advises and inform management on the handling of non-routine transactions
· Collaborates with Directors and Department Managers to support department goals and objectives.
· Work with the Finance manager to ensure a clean and timely year end audit
· Respond to inquiries from Finance Leadership, and other finance and firm wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
· Supports budget and forecasting activities.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
· BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting required.
· 1-3 years’ experience in with practical experience in G/L reporting, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable required. Job Cost experience desirable.
· MS Office proficiency with emphasis on Excel required. SQL experience desirable.
· Good organizational skills, detail-oriented, and an appropriate sense of urgency.
· Capable analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
