Sprinter Health is looking for a SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER with a passion for creating incredible experiences to help us improve health outcomes for millions of Americans.
Our product vision is simple. If booking an in-home health visit was as easy as ordering DoorDash, and if clinicians were as friendly, fast, and helpful as the Apple Genius Bar, would you still travel across town just to do the healthcare basics like getting your blood drawn?
Sprinter Health’s licensed clinicians sprint directly to people’s front doors—catching diseases early while saving each customer the hours that they would have otherwise lost driving across town, finding Room 1304 within a labyrinth facility, and sitting in waiting rooms just to take care of the basics.
To bring health services to millions of people’s homes, we face complex and fascinating UX and SERVICE DESIGN challenges.
As Senior Product Designer on an empowered, collaborative team, you’ll own these challenges and help us solve them.
ABOUT YOU (AND WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE)
• You arrive with a thoughtful, eclectic and diverse visual design sensibility
• You revel at OBSERVING REAL PEOPLE USE YOUR PROTOTYPES and your team’s live products, assessing why customers are lost or why they were unable to accomplish tasks, and you are humble enough to propose and build novel, meaningful pivots that diverged from your earlier assumptions and designs
• You’ve led user experience / product design on MULTIPLE, REAL, HIGH-IMPACT PRODUCTS (note: we don’t currently have roles open for someone just out of UX bootcamp)
• You love designing and fast-prototyping in FIGMA—including building interactive components using variants and autolayout
• You prefer generating UX research and insights that are IMMEDIATELY ACTIONABLE—not for sitting on dusty shelves!
NICE TO HAVES (BUT IF NOT WE’LL HELP YOU LEARN)
• You have experience collaborating on an empowered triad: product designer, engineering lead and product manager who own and are responsible for solving consumer problems
• You’ve organized and facilitated Design Sprints and/or Design Thinking workshops for small and large groups of colleagues
• Super bonus: you’ve supported and helped architect design systems in Figma
BENEFITS
• $110-140k depending on experience, plus 0.05%–0.1% equity
• We pay 100% of the premiums on health insurance for employees and their families
• 4 months paid maternity leave or 2 months paid paternity leave
• Unlimited Paid Time Off
• Paid holidays
• Paid lunches, startup snacks, and a steady supply of SPINDRIFT, yes SPINDRIFT
• 401k with generous matching
• Commuter FSA
Our entire product team is co-located in our Menlo Park offices, where in-person collaboration sessions are the norm. All our product roles are full time (non-contract) and on-site only (non-remote), with some flex time. We take the spread of COVID-19 seriously: the extended team is vaccinated and we wear masks indoors (until CDC and California provides new guidelines).
