Job Description

Sprout Mortgage is hiring an Investor Loan Account Executive in New York who will use their exceptional sales and communication skills to develop new client relationships while also maintaining existing relationships. The Investor Loan Account Executive will act as the main point of contact for new and established Commercial Loan Brokers and Real Estate Agents focused on the investor rental market.

Will be responsible for training clients on Sprout loan programs and submission of loans for Business Purpose and Investment. The investor rental loan programs consist of 30 and 15 yr fixed, Fully Amortizing ARMs and Interest-only ARMs. The investor program properties include SFR, 2–4-unit, multi-Family 5-8 units, and Mixed-use. They will also provide technical support when needed and provide reporting on the status of new and existing user accounts.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business by creating relationships with realtors and commercial brokers.
• Assist in the account creation and on-boarding of new clients while acting as the point of contact for client related needs.
• Evaluate loan packages/submissions to determine if it meets program guidelines.
• Calculating rental income using Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR).
• Duties include to provide loan programs for Single Family Rentals (SFR) 1-4 unit, Mixed-use properties and Multi-Family Rentals 2-8 unit.
• Help identify new sources of potential loan production.
• Attend sales meetings to discuss and achieve team goals.
• Represent Sprout at industry conferences and broker training groups.

Requirements

Candidates for this position will possess exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the desire to work in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment. Sales and/or Business Development experience is preferred.

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a business development, sales, or similar role. Specifically including cold calling. Preferably in Mortgage or Finance.
• Experience with the Encompass loan origination system (LOS) is a plus.
• Non-QM mortgage Experience Preferred, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Driven, self-motivated, organized, collaborative, and a “team player” type attitude.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to travel regionally.
