SquareOne Holding Company owns and operates various restaurant concepts in the US Southeast.
The Human Resources Director role will oversee the coordination, administration, and creation of policies, programs, and initiatives to drive and support the business goals. This role works closely with every function and the corporate office and supports the Leaders and employees across all sites.
What you do:
1. Payroll a. Manage Administrative functions for the payroll system b. Manage Salary Payroll for each payroll cutoff c. Garnishments / Child Support Orders d. Oversee hourly payroll processing calendar and ensure payroll is processed by each location e. Oversight on setup of Payroll Processes at the store level f. Manage all state and federal Census / BLS reporting (as applicable) g. Work closely with Accounting Department for accurate payroll reporting needs
2. Benefits a. Annual census data b. Plan review & negotiations while working closely with the Benefit Broker c. Enrollments for open enrollment and ongoing d. ACA Compliance e. Track and collect overdue insurance premiums where necessary
3. Work Comp /Incidents a. Track and audit all claims
4. SquareUp Fund (squareupfoundation.org) a. Education & Implementation b. Administrator of plan c. Review/qualification of “applications” d. Oversight and recommendations for fund
5. HR Compliance a. Employee Relations b. Maintaining Employee Handbook

c. EEO1 Annual Survey d. E-verify / I9 i. Manage accounts and audit regularly for compliance e. FMLA (leave of absence) f. Wage & Hour Compliance g. Federal and State employment law compliance h. Recording keeping / Employee Files – ensuring appropriate documents are maintained in files i. Job Descriptions
6. Employee Life Cycle a. Recruiting/Hiring i. Maintain relationships with external recruiters ii. Oversee hiring for salaried roles iii. Provide support for hourly recruiting b. Onboarding c. Training i. Work with Training Manager to ensure compliance of the management tiering program & maintain management board d. Terminations
