SRAX Hiring for Backend Developer at Remote Full Time

At SRAX, we’re proud to offer innovative financial products. To help us continue to grow our offerings, we’re in search of a back-end developer to build APIs and middleware for a FinTech SaaS system. You must be comfortable with back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and software design patterns related to micro services, APIs, and data modeling. You must be able to define software requirements, create software designs, and establish tasks in a ticketing system to track your progress. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment leveraging Agile methodologies.

Objectives of this Role

• Strong understanding of data engineering, data modeling and object relational mapping concepts.
• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple external enterprises.
• Deep expertise and hands on experience with SaaS Applications utilizing standard full-stack frameworks or microframeworks
• Deep functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with micro services and associated design patterns.
• Strong grasp of security, authentication, and authorization principles and how they apply to permission based SaaS applications.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

• Design server-side middleware and APIs
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Write technical documentation
• Work with architects and analysts to improve software

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a back-end developer or similar role
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Flask, Django, Bottle, Laravel
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Python, PHP)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,774.11 – $110,000.33 per year
