Pay: 25-40 an hour depending on experience

What You Will Do In Your Role
- Install/fabricate replacement components as needed
- Trouble shoot mold and die issues in the shop as well as in current production
- Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts
- Work in a fast-paced environment in a safe manner
- Computes dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method and sequence of operations
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, and grinder, to machine parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications
- Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances
- Develops specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and draws or sketches design of product
- Using math skills daily
- Using verbal and written communication skills
- Develop interpersonal relationships
- Solving analytical problems
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50-75 lbs. on occasion
- Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures & outdoors on occasion as needed
- Frequently required to stand and walk; use hands to finger manipulation, handle, and feel; reach with arms and hands above head; talk and hear
- Sometimes required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit
- Specific vision requirements: close, distant, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years in the field and experience with tool shop machines
- Willing and able to adhere to the physical requirements listed
What Will Put You Ahead
- Fabrication skills such as welding/ metal working.
- Past experience in tool and die and injection molding
- Experience using tools/shop equipment (ie: grinders, belt sander, bandsaw)
- Forklift experience
- Overhead crane experience
