We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.

Essential duties of this position will include:

• Greets patients and other visitors in prompt, polite, and helpful manner, and assist with front desk check in as scheduled.
• Provides any necessary instructions/directions. Obtains answers from and relays information to other clinic personnel when necessary.
• Updates patient information on insurance, demographics, medical condition and enters in computer system and charge ticket according to clinic procedures.
• Obtains signatures as necessary.
• Maintains effective working relationships with patients and clinic personnel in order to meet the needs of both parties.
• Complies with clinic policies and procedures on regular work attendance.

Other Duties:

• Prepares charge tickets for next day’s appointments and add-on appointments by reviewing and updating purpose of visit, insurance information, signatures on file and other necessary information according to clinic policies and procedures.
• Maintains lobby appearance.
• Collects copays and payments from patients.
• Prevents, calms or diffuses upset patients by working with them to identify concerns and makes efforts to resolve issues.

This position requires excellent communication skills, along with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of patients, employees and the public in a fast paced environment.

At least one year of clinic experience is preferred.
