Material Handler

Qualifications:

A. A Current Washington State driver’s license is a must

B. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

C. Able to work well with team environment

D. Forklift capability

E. Basic math, writing and oral communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Receive, confirm, track, store, dispatch and deliver materials
• Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
• Follow written or oral instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties
• Keeping all equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance
• Conveying purchasing requirements and keeping data on the availability of products in short supply
• Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products
• Keep the facilities organized and tidy and implement general housekeeping practices to maintain workplace cleanliness.
• Understand the basics of the supply chain, including shipping and receiving logistics, quality assurance, equipment upkeep, and facility maintenance.

· Handling and storage of regulated (hazardous) and non-regulated materials

• Lift and unload heavy pallets, both by hand and by machine, and safely relocate them or prepare them for transport.
• Facilitate and maintain a safe work environment and a trained workforce, committed to the best practices in the industry
