CSS Staffing is seeking a NOC Technicianwho will be responsible forsetting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards related to the use of computing resources.
Required Skills
- 5 years experience in a production Data Center environment. With a strong understanding of power and cooling infrastructure components.
- 5 years of experience with Cisco Routers and Switches.
- 5 years of experience racking, maintenance, and recycling hardware.
- Experience with NetApp Enterprise Storage Systems.
- Experience with Oracle and Dell Servers
- Experience with Structured Cabling and Data Center Hardware installations
- Experience with Server and Power Distribution Units
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent and 5 years experience in Data Center Environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Enterprise tools: Sitescan, Racwice and Avocent KVM
- Data Center tools software administration
