They will assist the Director of Nursing in assessing resident care needs, implement nursing policies and procedure as well as supervise staffing for the nursing department and supervise the quality of nursing care provided to residents The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and passionate about helping others. Registered Nurse (RN) MDS Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Must be able to coordinate and assist with completion and submission of interdisciplinary, accurate, and timely MDS Assessments, CCAs, and Care Plans according to CMS RAI Manual Regulations
- Must be able to report any changes in a patient’s condition identified by the MDS Assessment to the DON
- Must be able to provide education to direct care associates regarding updates or changes to the CMS RAI Manual or Skilled Nursing Facility Regulations that impact documentation
- Must be able to assist with review of the Interdisciplinary Comprehensive Care Plan
- Must be able to review Final Validation Reports and attest that all assessments have been completed and accepted into the CMS QIES system prior to billing and notify the Business Office when assessments are not ready to bill
- Must be able to review CMS Reports to identify assessments completed or submitted late and develop systems and processes to prevent reoccurrence
- Must be able to attend and participate in the Daily PPS Meeting, Monthly Triple Check, and other meetings upon request
Registered Nurse (RN) MDS Coordinator Requirements:
- Must have a current Washington State Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Must have current CPR/First Aide certification
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must meet all Washington Administrative Code (WAC) requirements related to this position
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to read/write in English, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and lift 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Our Company follows WA Proclamation 21.14.1 which requires all employees working in the Health Care Setting be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless they are exempt for medical and religious reasons, no later than October 18, 2021.

SALARY RANGE- $79,000 TO $95,000 ANNUALLY DOE
