Starrett Tru-Stone Technologies is currently seeking a Recruiter / HR Generalist. We are looking for detail oriented, success driven candidates to join our team. A proven track record for recruiting and HR experience is a must for this position.
This position will execute full cycle recruiting including building and maintaining inside, outside and online connections to ensure the very best talent sourcing. You will also act as support for the Human Resources department.
You will work in our state-of-the-art, climate controlled facility located in Waite Park, Minnesota. We are in close proximity to St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, Clearwater and other central Minnesota cities/towns.
We offer a $3000.00 sign-on bonus for this position. This is an hourly, day position with negotiable hours working Monday through Friday.
What will you do in this position?
Perform all the duties associated with recruiting, hiring and onboarding.
How will you do it?
Work closely with Human Resources Manager, Hiring Managers and Production Manager to assess staffing needs, source candidates and complete the hiring process.
Research and present best options a creative ways for sourcing potential candidates. Plan, implement, and monitor the company’s recruiting strategy including job search companies, social media, and local entities.
Act as an ambassador by driving the companies’ culture, values and policies.
Work with staffing agencies and partnerships with local colleges and universities .
Post and update jobs on Indeed, Facebook and other job sights. In coordination with the Sales and Marketing department, publish daily social media content, videos, and other images and content that promote the company and opportunities.
Perform internal recruiting activities such as resumes screening, pre-interviewing, and setting up interviews. Proactive communication with candidates and hiring managers.
Prepare for and attend job fairs and other recruiting events.
In coordination with HRM and hiring managers, negotiated hiring wages, vacation time and other items with candidates.
Coordinate new hire orientation and attend to all onboarding items.
Assist HR with other duties as needed.
