Job Duties:
Oversee, manage, and monitor the Emergency Solutions Grant and other funding sources coordination activities.
Develop and maintain annual reports and data analysis of program.
Monitor program contracts on a regular basis to ensure compliance to the specific programmatic scope of work and federal regulations.
Lead efforts to build and strengthen sustainable community partnerships, coordinate solution focused task forces, working groups, targeted and regular community consultations, meetings around particular program areas and needs.
Engage and network with relevant community partners, field questions and requests to provide accurate information maintaining program integrity, in-state travel and contact with vulnerable adults.
Track and prepare complex statistical, financial and other data as necessary.
Analyze and prepare reports on a regular basis to report out on the households being served in Arizona.
Maintain grant data and send update reports to the Governor’s Office and HUD to satisfy programmatic requirements.
Write funding and resource proposals and submit timely and accurate reports for grant-funded efforts according to priorities.
Work closely with senior management to ensure initiatives are in compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and administrative rules.
Conduct analysis, develop and make recommendations, implement and monitor process improvements benefiting the agency and its customer base.
Attend and represent the State of Arizona at various national conferences and meetings.

Delivery of human services, programs and systems, including contemporary service programs and delivery systems in public agencies

Selective Preference(s):
A Bachelor’s degree & 2 yrs of exp related to federal programming (e.g., aging, hunger, homelessness, domestic violence, refugee, or community action); OR 1 year as a Prog Spct or 2 years as a PPS 2 working in programmatic implementation in AZ state gov’t.; OR 1 year as a HSPDS or 2 years as a HSUS in AZ state gov’t.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify), applicable to all newly hired State employees.
Successfully pass background and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
Travel may be required for State business. Employees who drive on state business must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.) AND have an acceptable driving record for the last 39 months including no DUI, suspension or revocations and less than 8 points on your license. If an Out of State Driver License was held within the last 39 months, a copy of your MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) is required prior to driving for State Business. Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintaining valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration; however, mileage will be reimbursed.
Be subject to a search of Child Protective Services Central Registry and the Adult Protective Services Registry.
ARS 41-1968 Each employee of the department who has contact with children or vulnerable adults shall have a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued pursuant to section ARS 41-1758.07.

Retirement:
State employees are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS), the State sponsored retirement contribution plan and the Long-Term Disability (LTD) program after a 27-week waiting period. The ASRS defined benefit plan provides for life-long income upon retirement. You will also have the option to participate in a voluntary deferred compensation program to take advantage of tax-deferred retirement investments.
