Description of Job
The salary range for this posting is:$26.94 – $35.02 Hourly$2,154.92 – $2,801.54 Biweekly$4,669.00 – $6,070.00 Monthly$56,028.00 – $72,840.00 Annually
This is a key CDLE Human Resources (HR) position that supports the HR Director’s office and the HR Data and Technology program.
On behalf of the HR office, this position assesses HR communication and inquiries to provide recommendations for solutions to CDLE management, staff and external customers.
It provides personnel record management; litigation case file management, general HR Manager support and office administration such as managing: HR staff payroll and personnel actions, and the HR Manager’s contacts and schedule. This will require an extensive awareness and understanding of the CDLE organization and its Human Resources office, including programs, policies, rules and payroll practices.
For the Data and Technology program, this position will create HR reports for requested data points from a variety of databases. This requires a proficiency with Google programs and an ability to expeditiously learn proprietary databases.

Substitutions:Appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience: Five years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position.Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (including Google forms)
Customer Service Experience.
Office Management Experience.
Experience with CORE.
Experience working in the State Personnel system.
Experience with Box Document Management.
Executive level support.
Working in an environment that requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
Experience similar duties as a State of Colorado classified employee.

Perform clerical duties: Knowledge of performing administrative tasks such as filing, typing up reports and maintaining mail correspondence.
Communication: Both verbal and written. Exchanging and conveying information, ideas, concepts, thoughts, and feelings through the use of a shared system of words, signs, and semiotic rules via a medium.
Support managers: Familiarity with providing support and solutions to managers and directors in regards with their business needs and requests for the running of a business or the daily operations of a business unit.
Confidentiality: Familiarity with observe the set of rules establishing the nondisclosure of information except to another authorized person.
Perform office routine activities: Familiarity with program, prepare, and perform activities required to be performed everyday in offices such as mailing, receiving supplies, updating managers and employees, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Conditions of Employment:
Must be a current resident of Colorado.
Must pass a thorough background check prior to employment.
