Summary Statement
The Office of Infectious Disease Epidemiology is recruiting an Epidemiologist I/II to conduct epidemiologic investigations, descriptive studies, and/or analytic studies related to zoonotic diseases. Responsible for day-to-day epidemiological tasks (monitoring treads, developing disease control protocols, oversight of support staff, case creation, investigations). The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the rabies program including coordination with state lab, Department of Natural Resources, Department of Agriculture, Office of Animal Welfare, and contracted SPCA shelters to determine animal quarantine and testing. This position will serve as a back-up to other programs and will have a rotational on-call period once fully trained.

Conditions of Hire
