The Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to serves as the Technical Project Management Unit supervisor for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT). Provides leadership and management support to project coordinators and business analysts in the development of project plans and project schedules. Performs divisional project and portfolio management control functions. Conducts in-depth management studies involving extensive technical research and analysis of operational performance relative to projects and service delivery. Serves as a working supervisor. Keeps abreast of new developments in the Information Technology field. Assists in the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures. 1. Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with course work in technical engineering or information technology.
2. Requires prior experience equivalent to three (3) years progressively responsible administrative experience in technical engineering, information technology or a related field.
1. Requires three (3) years of experience as a project manager/project coordinator.
2. Requires three (3) years of professional experience with system development life cycle (SDLC).
3. Requires one (1) year of experience with business process analysis, design, modeling, reengineering and process visualization or equivalent working experience.
4. Requires three (3) years of experience in requirement gathering and/or requirement management
5. Requires three (3) years of experience utilizing project management tools such as MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project, MS Teams Azure, DevOps or similar tool.

6. Ability to review and analyze operational performance metrics.
7. Extensive knowledge of Project Management disciplines, including Business/Process Analysis, Work/Resource Management, Service Level Management, and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall and Scrum.
8. Developed verbal and written communication skills.
9. Extensive knowledge of organizational, cultural and process change.
10. Ability to supervise a multi-level team.
11. Ability to collaborate with different vendor related to procurements.
12. Ability to assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures.
1. Requires ability to travel.
2. Requires the ability to pass a position specific, agency required background check.
