Job duties:
Riverview Psychiatric Center is seeking Mental Health Workers to provide paraprofessional support work involving the direct care, rehabilitation, and behavior modification of patients in state institutions. Responsibilities include implementing programs int he treatment of education of the mentally ill, providing direct patient care, and maintaining resident areas. Employees may act as group leader of primary aide over an assigned group of patients. Work is performed under general supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to those candidates with experience in mental health.
