This position’s purpose is to provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment for Ludington State Park’s visitors by cleaning and maintaining the park’s public restrooms and buildings. In addition to cleaning and maintaining restrooms and buildings, the position is responsible for leading State Workers assigned to clean and maintain public restrooms and buildings. The position is required to maintain inventory logs for equipment, tools, and supplies, as well as maintenance and cleaning records for the restroom and beach house facilities. The position also assists with visitor services and public contact by responding to visitor questions, providing information during their interactions with visitors, and assisting park officers during medical response and lost person incidents. This position will also be responsible for performing minor facility and grounds maintenance in and around restrooms and park buildings.
