OIC CAREER OPPORTUNITY
The OIC is recruiting to fill one permanent Health Insurance Advisor 1 (Regional Training Coordinator) position. This position reports to the Field Operations Supervisor located in our Tumwater office, and provides training and technical assistance to the Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) Sponsors and volunteers.
This position consults with Volunteer Coordinators to develop plans and fulfill contract expectations and trains and assesses that the volunteers have adequately mastered the skills necessary to provide direct service, and/or other tasks, relevant to their assigned role(s) within the program. This position includes partnership development activities with team members, local sponsoring organizations and other appropriate entities. This position provides subject matter expertise in multiple areas. This position also includes public speaking.
This position supports the SHIBA mission by ensuring that Sponsors and volunteers have the necessary skills and training to assist and advocate for consumers through high-quality counseling and community education experiences. This position also supports the expansion of service capacity through the development of strategic alliances, leveraged resources, and local service coordination.

This is a Washington General Service position. The monthly salary range for this position is $4,842.00 – $6,510.00.
