Job Description
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in highway construction projects; perform manual work in preparing equipment or vehicles for use
Conduct preventative maintenance as recommended on all equipment
Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
Material handling and storage and shop work as assigned
Support the daily maintenance of all vehicles (Maintain fluid levels, fuel level and tire pressure)
Load and unload trucks; follow proper towing of trailer mounted equipment
Deliver material to jobsites
Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Notify Supervisor of any issues occur during work shift
Required to stand for an extensive period of time (+8 hours)
Wear Personal Protective Equipment required by federal, state, customer and company standards during work shift
Ability to communicate with customers clearly and in a professional manner
