CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR
This is a professional and administrative position involving the responsibility for planning, organizing, developing, monitoring and analyzing grant programs and contract procedures in various program areas. The work includes compiling and interpreting various forms of data in preparing grant and program plan formulating. The incumbent works under the general supervision/direction of the Director of Finance and Commissioner’s Counsel. Oversight over the work of clerical assistants may be a feature of this position. Does related work as required.
MUST BE SUCCESSFUL IN A CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION AT A LATER DATE.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and either:
(a) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Master’s degree and two (2) years of full-time paid administrative or accounting experience; OR
(b) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of full-time paid administrative or accounting experience; OR
(c) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate’s degree and five (5) years of full-time paid administrative or accounting experience; OR (d) Seven (7) years of full-time paid administrative or accounting experience.
SALARY/BENEFITS $52,798 annually; NYS Retirement and an excellent benefits package
