The Accounts Payable role within the Accounting Department will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of various accounting entries, reports and projects associated with the payment of general company expenses.
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
- Updating and maintaining vendor files
- Reviewing invoices and expense reports
- Verifying that approved invoices are coded and posted to correct GL accounts and cost centers
- Managing intercompany cash transfers and reporting on weekly balances
- Month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Ad-hoc reporting and project management as needed
Accounts Payable Qualifications:
- Associates degree and 2+ years of general accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions and accurate 10-key data entry required
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines
- High degree of initiative and independent execution
- Integrity and dependability
- Extremely organized and communicative
