Stockbridge Golf Club Hiring for Chef’s Assistant Job at Stockbridge, MA Full Time

TERM

Fulltime beginning April through October.

The Assistant Chef works under supervision of the Executive Chef. Strong skills will include excellent food quality and presentation. A good candidate has tried and tested methods of preparing excellent dishes. Prepares menu items in fast paced environment. Receives food deliveries and stores items properly to prevent spoilage. Maintains the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times. Executes additional responsibilities as directed by the Executive Chef.

• Creativity to create dishes on brand with the Club
• Knowledge of different varieties of foods and ingredients
• In-depth understanding of food health and safety regulations
• Experience in kitchen operations
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Thoroughness and attention to detail

· Must be able to work days/nights, weekends and holidays.

· The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

· The employee is routinely required to stand for long periods of time

· Experience Needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
