Full Job Description

Up to $49 an hour, full time, 2 positions available

Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Test drive, diagnose, maintain, and repairing vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicating directly with the Service Manager/Advisors to keep updated on any additional services that are needed.
Providing an accurate estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, as well as new specifications on multiple models.
Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Job Requirements

Post-secondary automotive training, equivalent work experience, OR one year of dealer-level or large facility experience required.
Must possess up-to-date ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) certification, or a degree from an automotive technician training school.
MUST HAVE your own tools and ability to transport to the dealership.
REQUIRED TO PASS DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK – NO EXCEPTIONS.
MUST HAVE A VALID CA DRIVER LICENSE IN GOOD STANDING – NO EXCEPTIONS.

Skills/Qualifications

Ability to identify the problem quickly and in a timely manner.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
A fast learner with excellent oral and written communication skills, computer skills, and mathematics skills.
Excellent Customer Service skills and be a dedicated team player.
