We are looking for a JavaScript Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. You will work with both front-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions. Ultimately, a quality JavaScript developer should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and implement complex design specifications.
The project you will be assigned is for a client whose funding is provided by the US government. Therefore we are limited to only hiring US citizens and require a complete background security clearance (only individuals willing to meet with a security background check should apply).
We began the project using PHP with AJAX / Jquery, but have determined we need to convert to Javascript for purposes of further AI development. The project will be set on a server running Apache Tomcat and a MySQL database. The first phase of the project will be to review and convert the PHP project to Javascript, along with adding new and improved features to simplify the project.
This phase of the project can start today and is to be completed by Dec 31, 2022. It is a 6-month fixed fee project. However, the possibility of this project going to other phases that involve AI, such as voice recognition, beyond 2022 is an option and we would hope the Javascript Developer hired for this phase will be able to continue.
