Job Description
Shipping Clerk
Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm, overtime as needed
Basic Responsibilities:
Performs computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
Managing all outbound shipments, including scheduling and routing LTL shipments, and arrangement of transportation services. UPS/FedEx software is to be used effectively.
Prepares shipping documentation including bills of lading.
Signs in and out incoming/outgoing trucks.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED,
Attention to detail and focus a must.
Computer skills including Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
1 year+ experience in administrative tasks.
1 year+ experience in shipping/warehouse environment.
Ability to read and write English and follow verbal and written instructions.
Basic math skills, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to identify, evaluate and problem solve.
Team player.
18 years or older.
Pass drug test.
