The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Human Resources department at a manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include the development, implementation and interpretation of policies and procedures regarding safety, workers’ compensation, recruiting, employee relations, handbook administration, payroll, record keeping, communications, and benefit administration. Acts as an employee ombudsman on matters of concern to employees. Represents the company in MESC, EEOC, NLRB , Workers’ Compensation and Wage/Hour matters.
